New Star Fitness & Nutrition is a uniquely specialized training facility that teaches individuals living with persistent pain and discomfort how to move pain free by addressing and correcting muscular imbalances, through strengthening their posture and movement patterns.

We are actively seeking a well-educated, motivated fitness professional who is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life through corrective exercise and postural alignment. You will be working with individuals who are likely experiencing chronic pain or discomfort.

Our Ideal Candidate should:
  • have a deep understanding of the human body and how it moves
  • have a strong background in exercise science, anatomy, and biomechanics
  • possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients who may be experiencing chronic pain or discomfort while also providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to improve their overall health
  • be able to create and implement effective exercise programs that are tailored to the individual needs of each client
  • be able to monitor progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure optimal results

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Remain current on credentials and continuing education
  • Conduct posture screening and movement assessments
  • Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client experiences based on their lifestyle, medical history, and goals
  • Provide an exceptional client experience
  • Promote and sells training programs
  • Document all aspects of client programming
  • Participate in trainings for personal and professional development

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Personal training certification through an NCCA organization such as (NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE, etc.)
  • CPR/AED certified
  • 5+ years experience working with clients in the fitness industry
  • Proven ability to build and maintain clients
preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Corrective Exercise or other related field
